Van der Westhuizen played only for the Chicago Bulls Blue provinces - he never played for another team after his first appearance in the first division since 1992. Blue blood Absolutely!
For most of his career, Van der Westhuizen was a great success with the Springboks, especially after the side won the World Cup 1995. In this tournament, the final nail biting, and touched on the famous all black Jonah Lomu to prevent the giant wing scored a try.
